Leah Williamson celebrates her 50th cap for England in style 🦁

England captain Leah William marked her 50th cap for her country with a goal on Tuesday.

The Arsenal star scored the first goal for the Lionesses in the friendly against South Africa after around ten minutes of play.

Coach Sarina Wiegman made eight changes at Coventry but opted to keep the captain in the starting line-up and she returned the favor to her boss for that decision.

Williamson remained unmolested in the penalty area and, after some pinball, fired a low drive into the bottom right corner.

It is only her fifth goal for the national team and the first this year since she returned to play after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in January.

An all-round celebratory evening for the Gunner.
