Ski Cooper bucks the trend with the lowest prices for day tickets, even at the ticket counter

Ski Cooper recently issued the following press release regarding weekday window prices of $45:

Ski Cooper near Leadville has always been known in Colorado for its affordable day passes. Now Cooper is taking the next step.

As part of a creative strategy, Cooper targets new skiers, powder day enthusiasts and last minute planners (non-planners) with a simplified structure to accommodate all types of planners and non-planners. This season, Cooper ticket prices are equally low both online and at the ticket counter. There is no need to purchase in advance to get the best deal.

Dan Torsell, CEO of Ski Cooper, says: “It’s time to reduce the stress of hitting the slopes! We have decided to move away from following the market leader in the Season Pass/Day Pass game and instead make it easier to purchase Day Passes while promoting the affordability of our sport.”

Buying online in advance still has advantages. When purchased online, the day pass is loaded onto your current RFID card (for those who have already skied here), allowing you to go directly through our port of entry and bypass the ticket line, making access to the ski area easier. Plan ahead and save time!

But whether you buy in advance at the checkout or online, the price remains the same. You get the same low price no matter where you make the purchase.

“Visiting a ski resort should be easy. We are excited to remove this pre-sale hurdle for our Cooper guests this season,” said Marketing and Sales Manager Dana Johnson. “

Just come along and have fun! We welcome everyone with the best offers every day of the season!”

And that's not all! Part 2: $45 day passes for 4 days per week

Once again great value for a first class ski experience for everyone!

“At Ski Cooper we are passionate about skiing and snowboarding and want to share this passion with our guests. We are pleased to offer our guests $45 day passes Monday through Thursday non-holiday and non-spring break,” said Dana Johnson. “Last season it cost $380 if you purchased day tickets at the box office for a 4-day period Monday through Thursday. This year, you can ski for four days for ages 22 to 74 for $180. That's less than half the price of last season.

“We understand the burden that everyone’s financial obligations are currently creating. We hope to ease some of this burden on our guests so they can afford to play the sports they love without the high price tag that comes with it. “Cooper is thrilled to be able to offer the lowest prices for the upcoming season,” says Johnson.
